Rose Crown - Aylesbury Vale

I came to the Rose and Crown last week. The staff were so welcoming, attentive and caring. Our server Robbie is truly an asset to the pub. I had a steak and blue cheese sandwich. 5* across the board

The Rose and Crown is a gem and my favourite spot in Wingrave. Very welcoming and really good service. The food was so fresh and my girlfriend loved the vegetarian options. Shout out to Adam and Bella, both were so attentive. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I was in the party of 14 and had a good evening with friends. However, my burger was overcooked and was dry, as was the bun, and the salad was non-existent. Also, curiously, I had french fries while a friend who had an identical meal had chunky chips but nothing was said! I ordered a lemonade and lime but, could only have a lemonade as there was no lime cordial. I don't like complaining and the young staff did their best I felt but it was a shame to see a potentially lovely pub like this struggling to provide a half decent service

What a disappointing meal our party of 14 experienced! My Summer Pasta was pretty tasteless and my husbands Vegan Tofu curry arrived with Chicken and had to be sent back to the kitchen as did another of the diners vegetarian salad which came with a chicken breast! The burgers were over cooked and the buns tasted stale. Small pieces of blue plastic were found in two of the dishes and one meal, another Summer Pasta was delayed being served only arriving after most of the other diners had finished. One of our party had ordered a latte/Coffee and twice had to return them as they were luke warm. I only hope that perhaps there was a staffing problem in the kitchen and this isn't the usual level of service. Such a shame as its a lovely pub and venue.

Enjoyed a really lovely Father’s Day meal. Great quality food and presentation. Great service too. Lovely atmosphere. Would 100% recommend
