Bidrage med feedbackAfter a day of skiing here to pack some things. the staff said the kitchen was closed. shortly after more French customers arrived and served menus. they should be clearly at the entrance and before they order a drink that British customers are not welcome.
We were three times at ax, but only this year ate. we were greeted and found a table fast. we were not so excited to eat a great meal and so for krepp supp ande. it was. very cozy and had a nice feeling about being in a log cabin with a huge wood burner.
We have lunch in three of the bars at the bottom of the ski slopes on this was simply the best.
At Lou Cantou the food is always fresh and very well prepared. Nothing special but honest food. As well during skiseason as in the summertime it's nice to eat here. Or just have a drink.
We have eaten at Lou Cantou several times during the ski season and never disappointed. The service generally very good although when busy you may need to wait a little. The steak and chips excellent and always cooked to perfection. Desserts, if you have...room, are all nice too especially the tarte au framboise (raspberry tart). Very friendly staff and location convenient. Easily my favourite in Bonascre.
