Bistro Avon Inc. - Avon-by-the-Sea

I debated writing this review but decided I am going to express my views..I was with a large group of friends for breakfast/lunch today and was disappointed in the food and service..This was my first time at the Bistro and will definately be my last..My friend and I had ordered a standard breakfast..Both our homefries were charcoaled and hard, her toast was pale and tasteless, my english muffin was hard and our bacon was fatty..The others at our table weren't overly impressed with their meals either..For whatever reason our waitress was not a happy camper which was noticed by several of my friends..When I go to a restaurant, aside from looking forward to enjoying the food, I feel it's the servers job to be welcoming and not behave like it's a chore having to wait on me..I can tell you I did nothing to inspire that kind of attitude as I had waitressed myself at one time..Aside from enjoying the company of my friends the only positive thing I can say about the Bistro is the bathroom was clean and attractive but the liquid soap dispenser was empty..

We had excellent service for my friends birthday brunch party. Everyone was happy with their meals. The pancakes were fluffy and had good flavor. The aloha salad was perfect since I love fruit in my salad. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
