Bidrage med feedbackThis place is in the perfect spot for a quick rest on the Bob Jones trail. I haven't eaten here, but my parents have and like the food. We tried to eat here one day but the kitchen was closed (we happened to go the one day the cooks had a day off. We have gotten drinks (juice, water here, which are rather expensive. (I paid over $5 for a mango smoothie, the kind in a prepackaged bottle that would maybe cost $3 elsewhere.
Quaint little market and deli. Friendly service. Food was excellent! Lots of menu options and delicious treats too. Nightly specials. 5 minute walk from our hotel, Avila Village Inn. Located next to Bob Jones Bike Trail as well. Perfect for place to grab food for a beach picnic. Also has indoor and patio seating. A delightful surprise! Will stop here again!
Tried ordering a Club sandwich on the menu but they were out of ham... ?No problem.? I said ?can I just get a little more turkey?? The clerk working the Monday lunch shift straight tells me no and I would have to order something else? you lost a customer for life, got a bad review all for what? Two pieces of turkey? Get F?d
Was so excited to try this place. My husband and I thought we found another local gem, but after waiting 55 minutes for our lunch, we were brought the wrong food. I got up and asked for my money back. They said of course, but then our meal was ready which were only 2 cold sandwiches. We sat and ate. I never got my money back and it wasn't cheap! 2 sandwiches 2 drinks a bag of chips and tip was about $50.00. The whole experience was over 1 1/2 hours for 2 sandwiches. Horrible service!
I'm giving this place 5 stars for convenient location, beautiful setting, the food is good and cute trinkets. Right off of Bob Jones trail and is always our go-to stop for lunch on our walks. Been coming here for about 15 years! My only issue is that some employees are not friendly and on a couple occasions, quite rude and mopey. Obviously the good cancels out the bad for me (considering I still visit)... but worth making a note that it'd be even better if there were always more pleasant attitudes here to greet and serve customers.
