Bidrage med feedbackThe location: location is extremely nice, in the middle of the Avellino's country side, very quite. The air is fresh and the it smells like chimney wood, we went there in winter. The view from the restaurant is is peaceful, you can see Avellino's hills and farms. I would say the best season to fully enjoy the outdoor space would be summer but during winter you can enjoy the indoor warmth of the chimney inside the restaurant. This was an old Frantoio a place where olives where crushed to make olive oil) and the inside still contain some of the machines to crush the olives which makes the entire ambient super typical. The food: Anything you order in this restaurant is home made and taste authentic! The taste is the best witness of it. I went there with my family under suggestion made by my father who has been in this restaurant already. We had the salumi platter for appetizer, which were extremely fresh and tasty, maybe the best I have tried so far. Then we had the Boscaiola as main course and it was exceptional. Above all though, I would say that the meat, which was our second course was the highlight of the entire meal. The owner takes all the ingredient from their farm so the ingredient are super fresh and healthy. The people: is a small business so the two owners are fully involved in the operational. He cooks delicious food she serve the tables. They are extremely kind and work super hard to satisfy all your need. Even if you have special requests. We did not stay overnight but the owner showed us the room they have with amazingly peaceful view makes a perfect destination for a tranquil and recharging stay. I would definitely come back to eat and this time stay overnight.
