Cais Da Tosca - Aveiro

And again: nice people serving excellent (Portugese) food. The ambiance is good and I really like to dine on their terrace: in the sun next to a canal with a magnificient view on a couple of palmtrees. Cais da Tosca is an absolute must-go if you are in Aveiro.

Garnelen for appetizers, thunfisch steak main dish and beautiful bolo do bolochas. all together excellent. can only recommend.

The food was great! we had an salad with goat cheese, spinach croquets and the meat options. everything was very delicious! also the staff there was very friendly and friendly!

GET THE GARLIC SHRIMP!!!! So amazing that I am currently writing this review from inside the restaurant!! We got the couvert of the day which i highly recommend. Crackers instead of bread so it wasn’t super filling and the olives came in the tastiest olive oil. If there is one dish you have to get it is the garlic shrimp tapas. Quite literally the BEST shrimp I’ve had in my entire life. I was in heaven, it was bliss. So amazing. You have to get it, the portion is also generous and comes with 10+ big shrimp. The octopus tapas was also really good and has a unique seasoning and sauce. It wasn’t chewy at all, even though octopus usually is. We also got the goat cheese salad which was good with fresh dressing and cheese. Lastly we got the steak. While it was good, it doesn’t compare to the rest of the meal. It still has a good flavor and tenderness and came with delicious potato wedges and sauce. 10/10 amazing loved it. Waitress was super nice, restaurant was beautiful.

Excellent food (shrimp is a must try and the passionfruit sangria was rly the best. phenomenal service by the lady too. absolutely nothing to complain about! in portugal for 5 days and this was our best meal here :
