Bidrage med feedbackSome killer food, great service and chill atmosphere! We popped in for a late lunch and enjoyed the salmon sashimi, a couple hand rolls, blackened scallops, and the fish tacos with NDMK fries. Everything was delicious!! Our personal favorites were the blackened scallops with the aioli sauce but everything was fresh and delicious. We are already planning a return visit this week to try more of their menu!
I am so surprised by the 4.4 star on google maps, this would be AT BEST a 3.8 star type of place.Their “salmon handroll” was full of Roe , little salmon and so , super salty. Their sushi roll (I had a crab salmon avocado was slightly below average for me that I couldn’t even eat more than 2 rolls. It also took a long time to get the food since “sushi was backed up abit”Their fish chips (chips were yum? but overall was meh. The fish was so dry!Definitely would not be back.Atmosphere is loud , but plenty of kids so if you’re looking for a family style loud diner type this is the place …
I can't say enough good things about this casual eatery. Fish is fresh and love the family friendly vibe. Dinnertime is busy, but that's most places in Avalon on a weekend in August. The photos of the owners' families in generations past are a sweet touch nice to know you're supporting a true family owned business.
We loved the fresh fish plates! This is the best place we have eaten on the island! The ceviche and scallops were excellent.I had the sea bass. He had seared tuna.It was worth the price here. We want to go back before we leave and most likely will. We've had the best service here, with recommendations from the server.Very relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food. Fresh.Loved it.So glad we ate here the very first night.
Freshest fish I’ve had on the island so far! The name stands for “endemic” which was a fun play on words. Chowder was thick, but not lacking in clam chowder flavors. Oysters were very yummy but a few seemed less fresh than others. The sushi was good, I especially liked their salmon. I liked that the menu showed you where the different types of fish were sourced. The rolls were somewhat confusing to me because they were kind of like sushi I would get on the mainland, but with twists to it. I guess that’s what fusion is hahaRegardless, good food overall. Will definitely come back when I’m on the island!
