Restaurant Le Moulin des Ruats

Fantastic eating in idyllic surroundings. creekside reminiscent of big sur, with French charm (and much better eat.) good wine list also. truly a hidden gem (at least of Americans)

In an execable time, we arrived at the end of the afternoon at the windmill. A very nice place, on a small road at the foot of the cliff/avallon's bra, where all the mills were. Room above the river and wheel of the mill as desired. 100th anniversary of the establishment, with an excellent occasion menu. decor room a tantinet vieillot, but correct equipment. Cossu aperitif lounge. The sommelier at the table knows his business perfectly. Breakfast is up to the height. an interesting address.

"there's an old vintage by the stream, nelly dean." this old English song perfectly describes the ruats mill. We went down at weekendesk. a good meal by the water, a well-equipped room without air conditioning, a nice staff.

Romantic restaurant, the setting is pleasant by the water. it makes it eat outdoors when time allows it or in the evening in the stained light. service is pleasant. The last time I went there, the dishes were much less refined than in my memories. I'm sure you've tried again!

Ideally placed, this hotel offers rooms with balcony. on the edge of a pretty little river whose water noise accompanies our nights. The bedding is still acceptable. the breakfast served on the balcony of the room is perfect. The boss surrounds you with a rare kindness. a small permanent exhibition of artisanal jewelry decorates the entrance. It's quiet, relaxing and romantic.
