Bar Le Garden - Auterive

We stop at this place while we are from toulouse to foix, our last destination, the small becauseer of antras in the pyrenees. bar le garden makes a comfortable stop to stretch the legs, a cold/hot drink, a snack to get and maybe some...the food from the load next door and the large parking lot over the road makes the parking place a child's play. the people sitting outside in the sunshine can be a loud thing, however, as this small road leads a heavy traffic and under regular traffic, big trucks, which are not legal on British roads, often past the past. no English speaking, but the renter is amiable and their requirements are finally understood.

We stop off at this place as we travel from Toulouse to Foix, our final destination, the little hamlet of Antras in the Pyrenees. Bar le Garden makes a convenient stop-off to stretch the legs, get a cold/hot drink, a snack and perhaps get some...groceries from the shop next door and the big car park across the road makes parking a breeze. Sitting outside in the sunshine can be a noisy affair however, as this small street carries some heavy traffic and amongst regular traffic, large lorries not legal on UK roads, frequently rumble past. No English spoken, but the landlord is amiable and your requirements are understood eventually.

Unfortunately, this Monday, July 17th, the only restaurant open to auterive was the Garden.I paid too expensive (15,50 €: entrance, dish, coffee) for a bad canteen meal composed of industrial products of large distribution. The entrance: hot goat salad was made of tarpaulin (the bag is distributed), 2 industrial goat cheese slices on industrial dry white bread. All the dishes offered were winter dishes, while it was 35°C this day.I chose the cute net. I was served with a plate made of 3 slices of cute net (frozen?) bathing in a not tied and very fat sauce, frozen vegetables: boiled carrots in pucks and infamous potatoes. I only ate a cute net puck and I didn't dare to test the desserts, but no one asked me if the meal had rained me.

Good reception and good cuisine. Step in this hotel when you have 800km to perform.A recommend affordable price
