Sazon - Austin

Please go there and try the cochinita pibil, it is out of this world, so is the tikin xic and carne guisada ... mmmm! I am a regular now and can't get enough, a quaint little spot on South Lamar, love it!

Amazing, authentic Mexican food. If you like Mexican food you have to eat here. Everything we tried was perfect, we shared several plates (a large group of us) as well as a few appetizers. Better than any Mexican restaurant I've been to in the US, and Mexico itself!

We've been to Sazon several times, tried different dishes, and it's always outstanding! The servers have always been very nice and helpful too.

Awesome authentic Mexican food in an authentic South Austin Mom Pop restaurant. Everything we’ve had on the menu is excellent, people are always so friendly, margaritas are perfect and chips and salsa are spot-on. Love this place.

Been a few years since I went, but food is still tasty. I love their mole sauce and queso. Friendly service and tasty drinks. Only downside is the interior is a bit dark and dim but nice enough patio
