Pluckers Wing - Austin

Visited for the first time, ordered boneless stripe basket according to my buddy's recommendation. Got 2 vampire something and 2 Gochujang w side salad (for a charge) instead of waffleries or Tater deaths or Mac n cheese. Both flavors Bruce I have chicken strips that I have 3 flames of 4, but we are not sharp at all. Ok taste on the Gochujang, but vampires have found nothing. The strips are huge, but have a thicker bread than I want. I tried to take bread to keep eating. The salad was really wimpy and not worth whatever they are charged for it. It's on the $5 menu. Next time I'll try the bone in wings. Currently not impressed to hear about this place after so many good things.

Terrible customer service. Employees are not aware of politics. The local manager supports their lack of knowledge and feels that it is better for the customer to know more than who hires them. Food came 45 minutes after the order! The manager was argued and said that his employee had a language barrier when we didn't feel it at all.

Long wait. Best to check on Yelp to avoid waiting 1-2 hours on seats. The staff is always attentive and friendly, but waiting is always terrible. Even when checking for Yelp the table we were sitting was empty for 20 minutes, so I'm not sure why we waited so long. It is also very loud with all sports on all screens. Not quite the place if you are looking for a dinner with conversation; the staff really seemed to have climbed the volume high. My Overall Bottom line/s: Good food, friendly waiting staff, bad ambience, bad waiting times

I had a good service in the dining room so I could come back. The bar is hit or miss-- but sometimes I know they were busy focusing on drinks. That means Pluckers serves a complete menu at the bar, so they should always be ready for it. Food has always been on the target. Can't go wrong with any wing order; I recommend the Ranch rub. I also recommend the Buffalo chicken salad - still get chicken with any sauce, but with a beautiful salad that contains cheese, bacon, tomatoes, cabbage, carrots. As far as the appetizers are concerned, my favorite is the fried pickles. All right! The problems with this restaurant are 1) it begins to look down. Two remarkable things are the bathrooms are worn off and the floors are beaten. 2) the hostesses are not friendly. I wonder if they even want their jobs or if they are simply annoyed by the public that attacks them.

Drinks where alright. But I should of lessened to the online reviews. Wings I guess where alright could of been fried longer. Sauce ahhh and just like all the other. They where worm at best told 1hr and 45 minutes for a table. So we sat at the bar. Just like some people on here I guess if your not a regular they seem to not really care about you. I love wings and really wanted to love this place. But it's just not worth it in the end.
