Bidrage med feedbackWe went in for a late lunch and I was excited to come back after my first visit earlier this year, I loved their fried rice but this visit didn't go as well. It was pretty slow and we sat down. The initial waiter we got didn't have the greatest attitude, seemed like a okay hurry and order kind of stance and tone. We received our egg rolls and they were clearly old and just reheated. We received our fried rice and it was delicious but because of our 2nd batch of egg rolls, I didn't enjoy it as much. When the 2nd batch of egg rolls came, they were still very greasy but I ate half way and reached a part where inside the egg roll was frozen. I honestly don't remember the egg rolls being so greasy with grease dripping the first time I came. All of it was very disappointing. Not sure if I will ever be back.
Pho so good, you'll go home and slap your mama. The atmosphere is awesome and a great place to relax and pig out.
I used to live in Austin over 20 years ago and I absolutely loved visting Pho Hoang. In my West Texas city Vietnamese restaurants didnt' start opening up until 2009 the horror. The ones we have in town are nothing compared to Pho Hoang. The spring rolls were my favorite. Next time I visit I'm definitely stopping here. So glad it's still open.
The beef broth is savory. Great aroma and taset. Pho was delivered fresh and hot. The fresh iced tea and ice thai tea were fresh and delightful. Will be back again
I’m giving a 3 for food. Partner ordered pho and enjoyed it. Liked the flavor and thought it was an appropriately sized portion. I had vermicelli bowl with tofu and veggies. There were no veggies, just lettuce and too many nuts. Tofu was dry and overcooked and there was a burnt piece of meat at the bottom of my bowl. I have had better vermicelli bowls elsewhere. I wouldn’t return. However, if you like quick, cheap food without veggies this place may be a good fit for you. There was a decent crowd of people eating. The restaurant has a lot of stock (sauces, boxes and bags) in the dining area.
