Had an on-the-road, late post-conference dinner for one this evening, Maiko staff was friendly and engaging from minute one with my being immediately greeted and escorted to the bar by the owner himself from the front door. It’s a warm, stylish yet comfortable room, an atypical sushi house; a mix of Asian influences with a good bit of Texas influence. Had solid, fresh tuna sashimi and one of their signature rolls, chased with vodka and edamame. Will totally come back my next journey to ATX, Benny and his team have good thing going and there’s clearly good business from regular locals. Check it out!
