Las Palomas Restaurant-bar - Austin

The only thing I can say that is constructively criticizing them, is “they did not read the open table reservation where I had requested to be near the band since I was associated with them”. They immediately tried to seat me in a back room until I mentioned that my reservation had requested to be in the main room where the band is. They did finally come around and seat me where I wished. If they couldn’t accommodate me, that would’ve been a different story, but not even a word was mentioned as they tried to see us in the back room. All was good.

Do to life part of our party was delayed but they served the first hungry group promptly and the delayed group a little later!!! So very helpful. All the food was piping hot and delicious

We love Las Palomas and have for many years. The tables are too small for 4 people and the chairs are uncomfortable. The noise level is awful. Our waiter could not hear us. I think a band is not necessary, just not enough space. We will come again!

Good casual business lunch and dinner place, would recommend for something low-key.

It is the Broaddus family’s favorite place. From its founders to their family that still runs it, the sumptuous recipes, responsive service, and welcoming atmosphere remain the same since its beginning over 30 years ago. It is our ‘go to’ place for our family and our out-of-town guests. West Lake Hills wouldn’t be the same without Las Palomas.
