Bidrage med feedbackFirst time visitor here. I was in the area and thought I'd stop by for some breakfast tacos. Initial reaction was they are a bit pricey, but if they were good they'd be worth it. I ordered 1 The Good and 1 Migas taco, and 2 bacon, potato, egg, and cheese. There was only one person working, taking orders, checking people out, AND cooking. That's okay, but the wait seemed a bit long. However, she was making everything when it was ordered, so I didn't mind.Because the wait was a little long I had plenty of time to look around. They earned their first dollar in 2014, and here it was 2023, so they've been around a while. What struck me the most was that the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in that long. The floor was sticky, there was a rug in front of the checkout that looked like people with wet dirty shoes had stood on it for years, the AC vents were disgustingly filthy, there was dust in less visible places (like under the drink dispenser), and clutter. But I know it is possible for a dive to make great food, so I waited for my order.I got home with it, and they had proviided two types of sauce: red and green. They were both a little watery for my preference, but had good flavor. The tacos were tasty too, but in my opinion, nothing special. For the size, $4 per taco was okay, but I added a tip so that made mine $5/each.Nothing spectacular about their breakfast tacos, so I probably wouldn't go back for that. There were some interesting things on the menu, though, so I might go back for the fusion stuff, and hope I don't get sick.
Great breakfast tacos! Several people at my meeting commented on how good they were. Glad to have found this place!
I visit Austin about 4 times a year and I always come here. Usually everyday when I am there. My family makes fun of me for how much I love this place.Food: 5/5
I'm done listening to Yelp in Austin, y'all have steered me wrong for the last time. The food was greasy and tasteless. The bowls were supposed to come with cilantro rice, they didn't. The kids didn't even eat their tacos. Wouldn't try again.
Picked up a to go order on a Friday evening. We had a steak bowl, a chicken bowl, and kiddo had a gringo chicken fajita meat on flour tortillas with rice and beans. The food was good, we enjoyed it, just not particularly memorable or something I would necessarily crave or want again. Perhaps it could have been more flavorful needed more spice.
