Central Standard - Austin

Central standard has a bit of space for improvements in service and court execution. we ordered the wooden sign and it was discarded without explaining what was on the teller. it would have been appreciated since it was not listed on the menu, only said 'seasonal selection' the additional few seconds to explain what 's on the board would have been nice. we also ordered the tuna crucible, which was actually rather a ceviche in the performance. it came half ugly on a plate and was about as far from a cross as it comes. the mood and the interieur of the restaurant are really cool and the perfect place for a date night, would love if the food and service could come a little.

Delicious lunch. very accommodating. Service staff were very friendly and patient with us as it was our first time and we wanted to learn about the menu. Tuna-Crudo and charcuterie board were both delish. we'll be back soon.

We enjoyed the deviled eggs, cheese plate, and oysters. The rest of the food and cocktails were below expectations. The happy hour wine deal is great! Our server was also very friendly and helpful. Would return for apps and a bottle of wine.

Phenomenal food and service. Special mention for the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo!
