I honestly don’t leave bad reviews but this experience was terrible and I need to warn future folks who wants to order a cake here so this doesn’t happen to you.I sent an email for a cake, they never told me that I had to pay the invoice prior to pick up. They told me at 5pm the day before pick up via email so I obviously missed it . Day of pick up they canceled my order .. for a 60$ cake… that i was obviously going to pay. i think they just forgot but still, please more clear when accepting orders so this doesn’t happen to someone else’s birthday.Never again!

Got a vegan cheesecake and oh my it was so delicious! You wouldn’t even know it’s dairy free.

The kolaches cupcakes are SO good! Honestly everything is amazing but those are my favorites. Highly recommend!

We used Capital City Bakery for our all vegan wedding we ordered 3 different cupcake flavors (11 dozen total) and 1 6 inch cake so we could cut. We got chocolate caramel, strawberry, and vanilla confetti. We customized the frosting/sprinkles a bit to give them a more elegant look and they truly looked and tasted amazing! All of our guests raved about them and we only had 5 leftover at the end of the night.Also, the bakery staff was great to work with and responsive via phone and email with any questions or notes we had. Highly recommend!

First off, let me say. If you've been burned by vegan and/or gluten free cheesecake in the past, this place has the holy grail! My wife wanted to order me a cheesecake for my birthday. I was very hesitant at first because I've experienced endless disappointment in the past. Vegan cheesecakes and gluten free cheesecakes never ever live up to their traditional counterparts, let alone trying to find a vegan AND gluten free cheesecake. You're basically unicorn hunting at that point.My stance has always been, if, at the very least, it doesn't have the taste, texture, and consistency of the Cheesecake Factory, then I'd rather never have it again in my life. Well, ladies and gentlemen...the unicorn has been found at Capital City Bakery! Let me tell you...it's love at first bite! I wouldn't have believed it until I tasted it. There is NO WAY that you could taste their vegan AND gluten free cheesecake and tell me that it's vegan and gluten free! I challenge anyone to test my opinion themselves. Being able to enjoy my all time favorite dessert as someone with so many allergies is unbelievable, and it is proof that allergy friendly alternatives don't have to taste like coconut and cardboard! (FYI not a coconut or cashew base, which is a big deal because who started the idea that vegans wanted coconut in EVERYTHING!???
