Ganesh Bakery - Auroville

Food and beverages not so great, but economical for Auroville standards. I was surprised to see people smoking cigarettes as Auroville was supposed to be a spiritual place.

If you come to a bakery and look for salad, then don't go to Ganesh Bakery, but if you are looking for fresh and good bread, you are at the right place.

We stopped by on our cycling trail for a quick bite. We were disappointed by the options available... Not much. Didn't seem to be fresh neither did it taste good.

The place remain as messy as it has always been and frankly there are so many other options that there is no reason to go here.

That about says it... Simple place but friendly and not that expensive... Try the muffins and tea. Next door is the place where they produce the kombucha drink...
