Bidrage med feedbackI hate leaving a bad review. Like, really hate it. But terrible customer service needs to be called out. We've always loved Taw Win. They've always had great food, both Burmese and Thai, and when I ask for Thai hot it's actually spicy. Can't always count on that in Denver and that's one reason we've gone back again and again. But tonight we had two orders of pad kee mao. My wife ordered medium, I ordered Thai hot. Hers was mild at best, mine was the same batch with a
Used to love this place but it?s been going down hill lately. When ordering through Uber eats they WILL short you. They almost always send fewer appetizers than advertised and only send condiments in one box even when we order two entrées. This last order they actually wrote ?1 less, no more? on the crab wanton bag. The pad Thai was also pretty mediocre.
I?m Burmese and this place is legit. Get the mohiga and put everything they give you in it and you?ll have a good time; make sure to ask for fish sauce and put in the chili flakes. Get the samoosas (veggies) and enjoy it with the hot sauce. Get the falooda. Also get the chicken curry and eat it with rice.
I've been to this place plenty of times, but I always chose carryout because of the pandemic. Today I finally ate here with my family, and it was great. Same great taste, but with the added benefit of plate presentation. This place needs to be better known, it's fantastic. I went for chicken satay and pad thai (pictured in the photo), and you can't go wrong with either one.
Coming from Kansas, we discovered this place on Google maps due to being highly rated. We were not disappointed. This is one of the most authentic, and true-to-the-standards Thai restaurants I?ve been to. The owner, who also happened to be the chef, was very humble and provided amazing customer service. We were immediately greeted upon entering and were given a brief introduction to the menu. We tried Thai Fried Rice, Crab Fried Rice along with some steamed dumplings.
