Restaurant Del Arte Aulnay-sous-Bois

Stayed at Novotel/Ibis hotel. Did not fancy the hotel restaurant menu so ventured 100 metres across the road to this Italian. Nice inside with loads of space. Three of us had their set Formula meals. €19 for 3 courses and a drink including 25cl of house wine. Ended up only h@ving 2 courses at €16 as we were full. Had pizza as a main which was good and wife had spag bolognaise. Great service. Came to €50 for 3.

We were not dissapointed, the pizzas where thin and good tasting, especially the «3 salume» with gorgonzola. Pastas where richly enough and for dessert the creme brulee was plentiful.

My partner and I chose to come to this restaurant for a late lunch yesterday as we stayed in the Novotel across the road and their restaurant was closed after the 12-1 lunch hour. On entering we were greeted by a charming young waitress who showed us to a table that was on the outer part of the interior seating of the restaurant but covered so we were between indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered water, red wine and a planchette for our apéro. There was a mix up as we skipped entree and went to main course which resulted in us waiting almost an hour for the meals. My partner became irate but staff and shift manager attended quickly to our concern. The restaurant was well equipped in staff and there were only 3 or 4 tables to be served. The shift manager who was helping in the kitchen as well explained that there was a step in their internal procedure that our new waitress hadn't done which resulted in the chef not getting the signal to prepare the meals. She offered us a free dessert to compensate and a coffee to my partner. It was a nice touch. What I appreciated the most was the openness and honesty of the manager. So once we understood the root cause it was easy to move past. All in all it was not all bad. My partner had gambas a la sambuca and I had the risotto al pollo. Dessert was lovely.

Pas de la grande cuisine mais bon rapport qualité prix et bon service. Bon choix de boissons et de plats. Terrasse agréable
