Bidrage med feedbackI'm super picky when it comes to health foods. This place is on point, very delicious, healthy, good range of sweet and savoury. Best orange juice and hot chocolate I've ever tried.
Went today to the britomart branch. Was not disappointed. Excellent breads. Condiments. And sandwiches. Great friendly service. Would recommend to anyone who's gluten free or not!
I absolutely love the vegan, gluten-free, paleo-friendly, dairy-free, egg-free, and refined sugar-free breads and buns at this restaurant. They have a cozy seating area where you can sit down and enjoy their delicious bread. They even offer samples on the table for you to try, and I can confidently say that I am used to high-quality, healthy bread in Europe. I tried the Date & Orange with ginger and mixed spices, as well as the Wild & Free with sunflower, sesame, activated chia, and linseed. They were both amazing and cost 13NZD each, which I think is great value for the quality. The slices are quite filling, and I love to keep them in the freezer and defrost or toast them for a crunchy texture. They also sell pre-mixes for those who want to bake their own bread, as well as crackers and buns. I haven't tried their sandwiches yet, but they seem like a convenient option for those on the go, especially for those coming from the train. There are some non-vegan options like feta cheese on the menu, but the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating to vegans.
I purchased some bread from this restaurant and my mother, who is gluten-free, said it was the best bread she has ever had. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
This restaurant located in a train station is a clear indication that Auckland is now on par with modern international cities such as New York, London, and Tokyo. The chef at this establishment has successfully achieved the dream of creating delicious gluten free bread that doesn't taste like sawdust.
