Port Guryev - Atyrau

A local pub and restaurant in the middle of the residential area. I was the only one who was exposed when I was here. the menu is only in Russian. but no problem, I used google to translate. I give this place 4* review because the price relatiw is cheap in comparison to other similar pub / restaurant where expats usually hang. I have made two orders: the sturgeon fish steak and the fried carp. the sturgeon steak was really great! the flesh is rich with beautiful texture to chew. it cost me only 2900 tenge (7.5$). The fried carp was also not bad. it had no taste at all. they also serve insidious beer. it comes in jars or in an extra large space (see photo not according to my taste, but it does not mean that they are bad. probably white wine was the better game to arrange the ones I ordered.

Nice place to eat and drink. The place made look like it's Soviet Union times, furniture and decor are made of wood. The food I ordered (Ceasar salad and beef stroganoff) was quite good.

Nice beer and great place for hanging out with friends

Usual beer bar. Nothing speacial. Convinient for small groups of 3-4 people.

Good local home brewed beers. Cool scenery too (like a ship).
