Harvest Lakes Bbq Chinese Restaurant

I was very disappointed with the service at this restaurant. The menu did not list all the ingredients, and I was charged for an item I did not want (egg on my pork) because it was included by default. The staff seemed unprepared and the second meal we ordered, beef, was soggy. The prices were high for the quality of the food, especially compared to other Chinese restaurants I have been to. Overall, I was very disappointed and will not be returning. The younger boy working in the kitchen was kind but did not have the authority to resolve our issues.

I experienced 14 unauthorized transactions on my credit card after paying for my takeaway at this restaurant today. This is the only place where I used my card. The negative review I am leaving has no relation to the high quality of the food or service. I just wanted to alert others that there may be a card skimmer at this establishment.

I grabbed a quick dinner here. The Chinese cuisine was delicious, the ordering process was fast and convenient for pick up. There were plenty of dishes to choose from, but the prices were on the higher side.

Our family went to this local restaurant for Father’s Day and enjoyed the experience, although (like other reviewers) the service is a little challenge. We shared a number of lunch specialties and they were all excellent in presentation, quantity and quality that they could not owe. In fact, it was very surprising that they were even available on a busy day like Father's Day. I can certainly recommend the place, but they would do better with improved service.

I'm not going to lie. The food is good. Huge, delicious servings. However the service is absolutely terrible. You have to ask for drinks, ask to be served and call them over when you want to order even though the restaurant is empty. The server...never smiles. She looks like she hates being there and begrudgingly takes your order and gives you your meal. The food is good and cheap so we were going to make this our regular Sunday lunch however the service is so bad and the ambience so depressing (think funeral parlour depressing no music, no service, no nothing) we won't be going back. Shame for them we could have been regulars on their quietest day Sunday but the waitress looks like she died two weeks ago and is still in purgatory awaiting her final destination. Worst service we have ever received. Anywhere.
