Bidrage med feedbackThis Taco Mac in Buckhead (in the Lindbergh area) is located right next to the MARTA station and several office buildings, which is a GREAT idea, because this is a perfect place for After Work festivities. The food is quite good; Type like your standard Applebee's, O'Charley's, etc., but with a light Tex-Mex Vibe. You can also get a fairly affordable lunch there, and the staff is good to get you in and out in an hour. The real star here is the BEER. You have a wealth of great beers from everywhere (many on tap) and the atmosphere is spacious enough for you and your friends to enjoy the game on their variety of large screen TVs. This is NOT a super stylish place, and if you want a casual evening, I would not recommend taking your date there. But if you want to hang with your friends for a while and enjoy good beer and quite good food, then this place is the jam.
It was a great night to sit outside. Our waiter Marlin was great. Service was great and the food was delicious.
Easily accessible, well- distanced sports bar with a slim beer option, but somewhat embarrassed by unconsistent waiting. The food is delicious, especially the tacos, while we went for the Taco night, but between this visit and my first, the attention of the staff could have been better. My first visit had a place on the waiter who was attentive and on the money, but the result was less than stellar than the waitress lasted about 25 minutes to collect revenue and payment methods from the table. All things said the food is delicious and there are a variety of drinks options to keep the happiest.
We ordered 10 habenero bbq wings and 10 garlic Parmesan wings. This is what we got. 20 tiny drumsticks of one single flavor. Now we are trying to contact them. It has been 20 min and we called at least 6 times, nobody answers the phone. I guess nobody cares about the customers and we should just accept that we are screwed.
Been going to Taco Mac since 1987. Best Buffalo wings around until late last year when owners sold out and prices went way up. Photos are of what is know as a “flat” and a “drumette” or “drum” (bless those chickens for helping to keep us fed). At Taco Mac each of them little pieces is $1.19, so if you order a single (10 pieces) a soft drink and a fair tip you are out the door at around $20. Dang that is good jack for the new owners, but ain’t gonna be from me any more.
