Sushi Itto - Atlanta

I've been here several times but this time Lane took my to go order. Normally the staff is ok. But this visit was different. Lane was pleasant and he communicated our wait time (that typically doesn't happen). He gave us our food carefully packaged and thanked us for coming.As usual the sushi was delicious.

Customer service was horrible. The manager acted as if we were bothering him when we entered. The server was a little better but he could not answer most question and had to keep going to the manager. Lunch ends at 3 we entered before that time but were told we couldn’t order from that menu. Tried something different but we will never go to this establishment again. I don’t know if our race placed a part of if he just has poor service.

Great sushi, moderately expensive, and lots of available seating. I am not sure how much most people eat when they get sushi, but for two of their fancier rolls you would spend around $25-$30. I recommend the spicy tuna rolls, If that is what they are called, because they are only $8 and super tasty.

I’ve tried a lot of sushi and this place has really good sushi. And if you love salmon, GET THE SALMON SASHIMI. It is the best salmon sashimi I’ve ever tasted. I don’t know where they get their fish from but wow. I always get the volcano roll and salmon sashimi

The following review is a reflection on the business’s practices and not the individual employees who work here. This place is woefully understaffed. I placed a to go order that was supposedly ready when I got there but then had to wait an additional 20 min for sushi. Many people were also waiting. I was charged $6 for 2 small, frozen spring rolls that I had to go back in and get which were cold due to the wait on sushi. My cold and hot sushi rolls were served together in the same box resulting in all being approximately the same temperature lukewarm. The tempura rolls tasted like the oil used for frying was old or dirty. They charge extra for sauce which would be fine except the rolls are also (comparatively) expensive to other sushi places.
