Neighbor's Pub - Atlanta

Like a good neighbor, neighbors is not it. I went to neighbors with a group on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Our group started our day to celebrate a friends birthday at Neighbors. Our party was a third of the bar’s business. Our boyfriends went to play darts which they received from another party already playing darts. The security guard approached them and aggressively accused them of taking the darts from behind an empty bar. The security guard threw my boyfriends drink across the bar and physically removed them from inside with no explanation. Once outside they were harassed into leaving the property in the rain without their coats. The bar was nearly empty and this was uncalled for. To be considered a gaming bar, playing games offered shouldn’t be considered a crime. The policies should be clearly stated, and there should be confidence in an accusation prior to putting hands on a patron. There was no reason to act so aggressively given the circumstances. I often frequent neighbors and this was unacceptable.

Cool. Laid back neighborhood spot that 's been around forever. But what 's up with having three security dudes at the entrance at 8:00 p.m. on a Friday night?? Is that really necessary in Virginia Highland?? If so, perhaps one person would suffice? I 'm assuming they 've had some sort of incident lately... It makes the entrance feel like some hip Buckhead joint.

Don’t go to Neighbors unless you’re a straight, white, college student. Place is total trash, and the management is the ultimate problem.

Extremely poor customer service. The owner of the event space Room 752 (Jessica) is rude, unprofessional and unresponsive when you are trying to book an event. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Really cool spot, this was our last stop to end our Saturday night and we stuck around until the place was kicking everyone out. Had a nice setting and the drinks and service both were pretty good. It was a beautiful night so we all hung out on the patio and enjoyed the music while socializing. I for sure would come back to this place and recommend it to anyone of my friends or family. Was having such a good time didn’t even get much pictures like usual haha!
