The Royal Peasant - Athens

A local spot for that classic British pub experience. That means? a neighborhood spot with great food, lots of beer, tons of regulars, and a come as you are environment. This does not mean? lots of seating for large parties, ranch dressing, the customer is always right, a quiet night out. When used correctly, the pub will make you a ton of pretty good friends that will greet you when you walk in the door, a year round covered patio for work lunches/late nights/quick beers,and a reliable place for a late dinner when everywhere else in town is inevitability closed at 9pm. I?ve been coming here for a decade, and I?ll be back tomorrow. Athens doesn?t deserve the pez.

AMAZING meal!!! Dare I say my new favorite restaurant in Athens?!?! It was like taking a lunch on vacation in England! So much fun all the food was just perfect! I can't recommend this gem enough! The crisps onion rings are so good!

A true British style pub with Indian infused dishes. Outdoor seating in good weather or indoor seating during poor weather is highly recommended. Any choice on the menu will not disappoint. Pair your meal with any choice of a rotating tap or cocktail. If you haven?t yet, make this your new go to spot.

Great eating and vibe. a bit too pricy. duck breast is better than lamb frame. all the whispers are too sweet, but great.

Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere and eating. Easy to use the best I ever had! antipasta sampler the price worth. do not miss the chicken livers with picked strawberries seriously. if they have the butterscotch pudding when they go, trust me, just order it. I hate butterscotch pudding. this is a whole other type of pudding not being ignored.
