Taqueria Tsunami - Athens

Wow! What a great discovery. While shopping, we needed some lunch and stumbled upon this restaurant. It has a fantastic atmosphere with a friendly bar, spacious seating, and even outdoor seating. The menu offers a mix of Asian and Mexican cuisine that was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, well presented, and the portion sizes were generous. I ordered a Chicken Enchilada bowl while my wife had tacos and tots, all of which were fantastic. The service was top-notch and the prices were great. There were also some great adult drink specials, including a caipirinha (although we weren't sure about the ginger addition). We truly felt like we got our money's worth, which hasn't happened in a while. Definitely a hidden gem worth seeking out.

The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere with excellent hosts and delicious food. The service is extremely fast and the prices are just right. I highly recommend this place! Make sure to be 21 or older if you want to try the Samarai Sling Cocktail - it's really good.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. In all honesty, they could charge more considering the high quality and generous portions. The staff is consistently fantastic as well.

First time going and we had a wonderful experience. The menu is unique, but has a nice variety of options. Our server was great, had a great sense of humor. The food was really good! We had a variety of tacos and sides and weren’t disappointed. The manager was very kind to us! We waited a few minutes to be served— we didn’t mind, but he took the time to apologize anyway. Would definitely recommend for food, laid back atmosphere, and amazing service!

Every single thing was amazing. It was well staffed, super friendly, efficient with cleaning and seating, and I heard the staff joking in the kitchen. They seemed genuinely happy. It was clean, the bathrooms are private and not gendered. The food was fresh, unique, and out of this world delicious, I honestly haven't stopped thinking about it. And it wasn't super expensive. We got an appetizer, 4 tacos, two sides, two drinks, and dessert for $38 before the tip. All in all perfection. Whoever runs this place should consider running for President.
