Frite Scoop - Astoria

The ice cream is spectacular, very rich and creamy. They didn?t have any of my normal go-to flavor combos but I tried the chef?s choice and am so glad I branched out! Amazing! A small side of fries to share made for a perfect afternoon snack. I tried thepickle sauce and it was delicious. Must stop for a weekend visit!

Fantastic spot to grab a snack along the river! Ice cream is smooth, creamy (especially the custard flavors), with a fun mix of flavors. The fries are crispy to perfection but still soft on the inside. I got the garlic fries, and the seasoning makes iteven better.

I love French pommes and I think the best I ever had were fried twice in Belgium. they really come, really close to them. krispy outside, soft and creamy inside. love!

Do you want something sweet and special? go to the “Frite Scoop” it is a super sweet little spot for a tasty, ice and pommes are the speciality. they offer both small blades or regular size and double. the frits also come in 3 sizes. the area has a great view, but there is no access outside. definitiw a great place to stop

The BEST ice cream I've ever had! I don't care if you're lactose intolerant, it's worth it. The workers and owner were very kind, a must try!!
