Bidrage med feedbackGreat breakfast both a la carte and buffet. Amazing service and staff!
All the time we had dinner, they moved things around the yurt that made it loud and uncomfortable. 24% mandatory service fee
Overall disappointed by our visit here. For the first time at Hotel St. Regis and had high expectations for their food that was not fulfilled. Service was really slow, waited 25-30 minutes before we arrive at our ordered cocktails. Our appetizer came very fast (Calamari) and was okay. We cut our night and left after a drink and appetizer. Would not return or recommend. However, the bar near the lobby is much better in service and food, would recommend it.
This was an incredibly romantic experience, perfect for our anniversary! We had a “Private Yurt Fondue Dinner” which the Velvet Buck offers at St. Regis in Aspen. It was beautifully decorated with rustic accents, candles, two ceilings, an acoustic guitar and an electric fireplace to set mood. The Yurt is heated by two radiators, but you still need a basic sweater. Even though we had all the yurts for ourselves, about 8 people sit so well for groups. The fondue menu was delicious overall, the only thing I wasn’t crazy was to cook the meat in “oil”, (so basically fry it), instead of a broth, but there is a descending amount of food to cook with all ingredients for $130/ea. There is a la carte menu and a good list of wines and drinks. Make sure to book in advance!
Arrived at 7 o’clock. Didn’t even get water until 7:30. Drinks came at 7:45 after I complained to the manager. We were told that they were short staffed but if so they shouldn’t have taken our reservation. Nevertheless, the food was quite good. The mushroom gnocchi appetizer was creative and delicious. The duck breast was perfectly prepared with an interesting sauce. Dessert of lemon cheese cake was unique and delicious. Would I come back? Probably, but……
