Aspen Hickory House

We were passing through Aspen for our annual camping trip. We usually have a spot to go to in Aspen, but with the busy 4th of July weekend we decided to go to a familiar name. We usually frequent the Parker location, and we found out that Aspen Hickory House has a GIANT patio that is dog and kid friendly! Oh boy! And did we win the lottery when we got the sweetest server. She mentioned the kitchen was running behind due to some delivery orders, yet the food came at a very reasonable time! The pricing was great as well! After some delicious food and some chit chatting with the server, she mentions that the owner of Hickory has affordable housing for employees! BOOM. Take all my money! It's already so hard to keep great staff in a mountain town, due to all the short term rentals and high priced long term rentals. Way to go! Thank you Aspen Hickory House for the amazing food, atmosphere and for being good to your staff! 10/10 times will support this business again!

Great food, staff and reasonable pricing. We we thrilled with out meals and it was too much for my wife and I to eat so now we have breakfast too haha. We will be back before we leave. Food came out very quickly. Make sure you try the lollypop wings, even if it is a few before your main course. Also the habanero BBQ sauce was amazing.

One of the coolest restaurants in town. Being a bit far from busy downtown area, you can dine here a bit quietly and still feel the atmosphere of the town. The floral decoration was amazing.

Most incredible tasting bbq !!! The brisket was the most phenomenal not fatty brisket I’ve ever had Potato salad incredible All of it so yummy
