Locanda Gastaldo - ASOLA

I am not perfectly familiar with the local food and habits, but here we found a friendly atmosphere, a perfect and quick service.The food was delicious(home made pasta especially). A tip: they are so good as they deliver pasta they made to other restaurants. The wine is local, not pretentious, but perfectly adequate to the food. We had „menu degustazione” and we had the chance to fully enjoy it. I don”t know about other precious commentaries around but the restaurant was full of satisfied people. Me and my friends will return whenever we”ll have the chance.

What I like most is the country location and rural atmosphere, that's worth a visit. The restaurant is located in an ancient building perfectly refurbished, in the countryside. Food, service and wines are not really exceptional, but acceptable, don't expect too much.

For €27/person for menu degustazione you can have a brillant selection of traditional mantova foods and wine. the location is abslolutely beautiful, based on an really nice retauration of an medieval construction

Locale veramente bello. Cibo buono e prezzi nella norma. Tutto ok

Abbiamo provato questo locale durante una cena tra amici ed abbiamo scelto il menù “degustazione” per poter assaggiare più portate . Sono state tutte molto gradite e buone, gli antipasti con polenta, le tagliatelle all’anatra ben condite, i casoncelli…. La carne era tenerissima e saporita … ottimo il maiale ed il vitello con scamorza. E, dulcis in fundo… abbiamo terminato con un fantastico gelato al fiordilatte guarnito con una squisita crema al cioccolato. L’ambiente è stupendo… rustico e familiare ma molto curato. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
