Make sure to count you change before leaving. Lady at the counter will keep it. Took 15 minutes to make a milkshake when there were only 5 other customers. Won't be returning.

So rude.. i have been a customer for years. today i placed an order, i knew the person taking the order was questionable. I went to the restaurant, if that is what you want to call it. of course the order wasn’t taken and the crew couldn’t get off their butts to assist me. Maybe five or ten minutes. perfect. i will never go again and i will tell everyone in ashland to do the same. shame on you!

This place is amazing! I’ve lived in southern Oregon off and on for 20 years and never tried it before. I had the Big Al’s 1/4 pound burger and it was delicious! I had the tots with it which were crispy which I love. I would highly recommend this place.

Truly the best little diner in the area. I ordered a 1/4 pounder with a side of fries and a peanut butter milkshake. My friend ordered a tostada. We split the food and learned both were prepared well in equal measure. This was clearly fresh beef for the burger, well prepared and incredibly savory. The milkshake was maybe the best I've ever had, the perfect thickness, taste, and temperature. Also they serve fry sauce without request, which not a lot of places do.

It 's hard to find a place that serves MALTS v shakes these days. But Big Al 's has 'em in all flavors. HHurrah! We had the Chilli cheese fries a chili relleno, a couple of green enchiladas, 2 chocolate malts among other things. Obviously our eyes were bigger than our stomachs! But we packed it home and feasted for days. I 'm glad we happened upon Big Al 's. Great Mexican food. I plan to become a regular. Dr. John
