Beautiful meals that were huge in size. The toddlers meal came out before the mains without asking which was nice. The chicken tender kids meal was amazingly delicious! And kids under 13 eat free on Wednesday night. The staff were super helpful and kind. Recommend most definitely for everyone. Just eaten here a second time it it was even better than the first time!! Open steak sandwich was INCREDIBLE

Service was fantastic and the food divine. Definitely well worth stopping in for lunch. The setting and atmosphere is great. Ideal for travellers with or without kids. 2 separate outdoor areas, a dining area and a bar. They have a pool table. Very reasonable prices and extremely clean toilets. I would without a doubt plan my next trip to coincide with passing through here to be able to stop and have a snitzel for lunch

Great food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. A pity they're closing Christmas Eve. I had the cajun beef salad which was really yummy and good value for money.

We called ahead our order between movie sessions as we wanted a nice meal but travel time was limited. Arrived in good time order a drink and our beautiful roast was on the table in no time. Roast Pork with all the trimmings. Plenty of lovely roast potatoes, kumara and pumpkin accompanied by orange carrots and green beans. Plenty of gravy to top it off. Thanks team for remembering us so we could order ahead and still make the movie. Lovely food. Friendly staff. Ashhurst is lucky to have you. Hope the locals support. We support from Pahiatua P.s I let them know my roast was a bit cold one of the first times we came on a Sunday and it is how people deal with constructive criticism that matters. it was listened to and this time everything was steaming hot and we were treated no different if not better after speaking up last time. Congrats team. Keep up the good work.

Basic menu. Great staff though. If you just want a beer and a steak and chill vibes, then go here. Had my first date with my gf here and 4 years later, in fact just last week, had my last date there with that same girl who's now my wife
