The Flying Horse - Ashford

We decided to brave the freezing cold and go for a hot lunch at this delightful restaurant. The cozy and bright pub had lovely friendly staff, delicious food, a nice atmosphere, and was dog-friendly (the landlord even joked that the dogs get fed better than humans - although she liked her treat, she admitted that the human food was much tastier!). I would definitely recommend this place.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance on Christmas Eve. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, able to accommodate a family of 10. The food tasted homemade and was faultless. The service was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

We stopped by this restaurant while traveling to a tractor rally. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed the nice atmosphere. The landlady was very friendly and even though the place was busy, she still found time for a quick chat. We will definitely be returning to try the food.

Attended lunch time without booking friendly welcome as we walked through the door Food was amazing I had Chilli Prawns , Indian Platter and finished off with Bread and Butter Pudding. Couldn’t fault a thing Will definitely be going back Price was extremely reasonable in fact I would go as far to say it was surprisingly reasonable bearing in mind the location and the surroundings. A massive well done to the owners It’s 11/10 from me You have a lifelong customer : thank you so much Oh and the toilets were spotless !

Attended here for the first time with ex-colleagues for a catch up and a meal. Attended on a Monday. The food was excellent and really good for value for money. I had garlic mushrooms for starter, steak and ale pie, and apple crumble for pudding. Highly recommend and will be back.
