This cafe is situated in the middle of the Idlewells shopping precinct. Staff are pleasant and helpfull. Costs are normal. There are many tables, but probably because of where it is, it is very popular and at lunch time seats can be scare. If you have to go to your table to wait for food you are not given any sort of number. This results in you having to listen when they bring it out. Not so easy if you hard of hearing and there is a general humdrum of noise. That aside, this is a good place for a break.
The Bronte biscuits are priced at £1.85 for a twin pack. When I mentioned that they could be purchased for 30p a pack at Wetherspoons, the assistant laughed and said, "Well, that's Massarellas for you." The latte coffee was good and hot, but it was also a bit pricey. I think I will be going back to Wetherspoons from now on.
Had a goats cheese and caramelised red onion panini with chips. Cappuccino and slush. Food was fresh and hot. But its just standard stuff of a supermarket shelf. Expect a bit more for nearly 7 quid for a panini and chips. Drinks were average. They need to buy some more plates. They were battered. It was also pass the parcel with a bottle of vinegar. How about the staff use their initiative and go and buy 10 bottles from pound stretcher? Wont break the bank. This place needs to up its game. Its not all about taking peoples money!
Over rate, over price, sandwiches were dry and horrid, staff unpleasant wouldn't recommend. Many other good alternatives around Idlewells.
