Jolly Fryer - Ashfield

This review was meant to be about the fact that the fish and chips picture are completely Gluten Free... But. Thses Fish and Chips were just fantastic Fish and Chip... They tasted almost exactly the same as regular FnC. I say almost because in my view there were better than regular FnC. let me explain. All chips at this Chip Shop are gf. Peas are gf. Gravy is freshly made and gf The Fish is gf and in my view its lighter than regular battered fish and more crispy. Making it better... The man in charge was very help full and even invited me to observe the gf process. As a new Coeliac this was very informative. If u are in the Sutton In Ashfield and want Fish and Chips gf this is the place to go... THANKYOU.

I was passing by at about 12pm saw only two in the shop being served and lots of parking which as you all know is very unusual. I wasn’t sure what to have. I was offered the lunchtime fish special it’s so good fresh tasty and looks great. You always get real good service from the team they make you feel so welcome

Went in tonight. Travelled from Mansfield as they have gluten-free options available at all times. Theo was extremely helpful. Food was amazing. Will definitely be going back. My girlfriend (gluten allergy) said it was the best fish she’s eaten in a long long time, especially since being gluten free.

I had gluten free fish and chips, curry sauce and a cheeky battered sausage. I was so amazed at how tasty it was. I felt safe knowing my food was handled well. Will be back again

Update: their gluten free curry sauce is lit! Where else can you get gluten free every day? Their whale-sized fish is honestly some of the best I've had. Really nice staff too. Highly recommended!
