The Bier Garden - Asheville

I came here with some friends and my boyfriend, and Hannah was our server. We split the check down the table, and my boyfriend and I got waters. I felt that my boyfriend and I were ignored for some reason, and we had to ask for waters a couple of times.The service was slow and inattentive, but I understand that it was a busy day so I?m not going to hold that against them. As forthe food, the food was amazing. We got the Wisconsin cheddar cheese curds, and it came with bier cheese and ranch dressing. Thebier cheese was amazing! Very flavorful and rich. The ranch was that good restaurant ranch. The BYOB burger I got was withcheddar cheese and lettuce. The burger was great, very well seasoned and juicy. The french fries were amazing with the biercheese and with ketchup. I would definitely come back here again because the food was so good!

My husband and I have now stopped in here twice, first to watch our SEC team a couple years ago, and most recently for NFL. Both times we have been really pleased with the availability of seating, the abundance of TVs playing all kinds of games, and thevariety of craft (and mainstream) drafts. We haven?t sampled any food yet, but both times we had already eaten. I can?t say theservice is particularly outstanding, and it?s kind of dark in there, which gives it perhaps the unfair perception of being alittle dirty and creepy, but we would go back again, so they are clearly doing something right!

Bier garden is my way to sport. they have an excellent selection of craft beer and delicious food. has joined my server, julian, who offered a perfect service in a busy night. fantastic server. great recommendations, very communication and attentive. as a former server I know what is for a good service and julian is a top notch server. Thank you!

I stopped here for dinner while visiting Asheville. It was Saturday night and I was just walking hungry after a day of hiking. I didn’t want to wait for a table and I found this places. I could be seated immediately. Food and beer was good, service was friendly. Nothing memorable though,

Inexpensive Burgers sandwiches. Large beer selection. Good service. Good place to watch a game or people walking by on the main drag.
