Mcalister's Deli - Asheville

The staff was friendly and informative. The good was excellent. Prices are good for the area, especially considering the mall location. The restaurant is clean with a good atmosphere. I definitely recommend McAlister's Deli. Like most places, they are having staffing issues, so be patient about the hours. It's worth checking back if you miss them! We arrived at 2:45 and greeted by a sign saying they were closing at 3 due to ongoing staffing storages. In spite of being there so close to closing, we were made to feel very welcome and appreciated.

I have been a customer of McAlister's Deli for 14 years, and I am of age 14, major plot twist there. About 85% of my life has McAlister's given me superior service. The last time I've been here, which was last Tuesday (October 20, 2020), I got a Pick Two for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious. French Dip and Chipotle Chicken Spud, yes ma'am, may I take that! Haven't tried any soup or real sandwich yet, but one I come back, I'm definitely in for that, about two Tuesdays a month, by then. By all means, I haven't been here in two years, and last Tuesday, I finally broke that streak to awesome service. Surprised the rest of my family gives McAlister's a 3-star. And no, I give this a 5-star, sorry mom, sorry dad, it's just so good to give any rating lower. Really. It is.

I have always enjoyed the meals that I and my family have ordered.We have always had great service as well .We have been eating here since they opened and will keep returning.

These guys really don’t get enough credit. With only two of them in the whole building, they had to deal with a family repeatedly making messes (and not cleaning them up) and a basic Karen yelling at them across the room. The food was awesome and quick, the service was great. The people complaining in the reviews have clearly never held a public job, if you think you can do it better you should help them out and fill out an application!

Reliable. A great Deli chain. Great salads and soups. Never been disappointed.
