Bidrage med feedbackI was in Asheville 5 times since Covid started, and this place is quickly a reason and reason for my visit. I love the mountains, but as someone who has celiacs, finding a restaurant like this is worth the ride back. The food, especially the brunch and lunch options, have never disappointed. I've never had anything bad here, and for anyone who said they didn't like the food, I'd tell them that they're trying something else on their menu, like with the great variety they offer (also with their limited menu), there's something you'll love. I am appalled to hear that they go through a very hard time and pray that they find a way to open and stay open soon as they are such a wonderful part of many communities. I hope to see her beautiful family and enjoy her delicious food soon.
I ordered the vegan nachos, vegan cinnamon roll and fried potato wedges. I was not impressed by the vegan nachos as I think my Cashew cheese sauce was not put on the nachos what I was pleased!! Not to mention, they only serve to go in a box container that made my nachos soggy when I could eat them: However, I was very impressed by the vegan cinnamon roll: I have a gluten allergy and I am also vegan, so it was difficult to find a place that sells vegan GF cinnamon rolls, at least those that are not dry or tasteless. These cinnamon rolls were moist and tasty with taste, even my non vegan aunt said it “was not bad” what a vegan victory in my opinion! The wedges were pretty good, nothing too special about em, but they came with some funky diving sauce that tasted as if they had some curry or unusual spices in them that was neat for a change. I took home and heated it to 350f in my oven, shook some slap ya mama on em and served it with a homemade vegan ranch and they definitely SLAPPED! My aunt and mother who are not GF or vegan ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a whole bagel. My aunt loved her sandwich and said she would come back, she loved the cale side salad that came with him! My mother was not so impressed by her bagel, but she says it is likely because it was dry made from gluten-free flour. I tried and it tastes good for me! I would come back, next time I want to try the Falafel, or the Asian cabbage salad!
I had a super delicious vegan breakfast sandwich. The potato wedges came with really tasteful sauces, and the portions were large.
Lots of healthy, fresh and vegan options on the menu. I tried the smoked Salmon bagel and it was good. The service was a bit slow though. Also, they only have patio/outdoor seating available.
Best food we’ve had in a long time!! Great vegan options too plus our food came out quick and the staff is so friendly
