Fish Bowl - Ashdown

Place was very busy, but I sat under 10 minutes. Beautiful atmosphere and very clean. Service was very good and I was eating out all the time and was the best service and food I had in a very long time. I ordered the 3 pieces of catfish and it was in the Top 5 cats places where I had eaten. I brought three more meals home. Very cheap. I'm in the area for two more weeks and I'm going to visit this place. In fact, if I were within 2 hours of this place I would be able to eat way at the fish bowl Can not wait to try her steak

Food was great for most park. Fish was a pigeon done, Cancer Etouffee wasn't what I used to. (Not as my family Cajun does) Warn 't big on this is a family restaurant excuse for not served beer. I can understand no alcohol, but no beer? That's the south, beer is at every family meeting I've ever been. (My mother or friends fam) This alone I give him 2 stars, but the staff and the service here are top calls. Our servers were very entertaining, friendly and prompt. That's why I give him 5 stars. I will definitely stop here for my next stay in State Park. I never found out if the frog legs were local or not... besides joke... poor new girl. Oil

Great little place from the beaten path. Food was excellent, it was super busy, but we didn't have to wait long and we were never allowed to wait for a refill. These are very nice locals! Portions are big and fish is super delicious. The first time I tried frog legs and they were very good. Tastes like chicken tap... I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you were in the area.

The food is good especially the hush puppies and service was a little lacking that night
