Jimmy's Italian - Asbury Park

It locates in a not so great neighborhood. The restaurant setup was a bit odd as well but it can accommodate a lot of customer.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.All entres came with salad, which was fresh and tasty. We had fried calamari’s, Zuppa di pesce, and salmon with lemon sauce. The portions of food were huge! The calamari’s came with hot and regular sauces. The zuppa came with plenty of seafood. All of them were delicious but nothing super.The pistachio cake was wonderful! Parking: Free valet parking only. If possible, don’t park around the neighborhood! Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all on the same level, easily accessible for wheelchair.

The absolute worse service ever. The waitress didn’t bring our beverages until after the appetizers were finished and she had to be asked. Salad was not brought out without another reminder and one of the entrees was served 15 minutes before the rest of our meals were served. And she added a 20% tip for herself even though we were NOT a party of 8. She had a very “sassy” attitude to boot. Very disappointed. Have gone many times in the past but will take a break from Jimmy’s for awhile.

Food was unbelievable with great service. Nice atmosphere. Many people but not too loud that you cant hear your company.

Pork Brocielie and Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana and Poached Salmon with clams and shrimp.

I attended someone's 50th birthday on March 10th. My waitresses were rude The pasta was way too sugary. It was supposed to be preset entries. The rest of the entree was missing. It was only the chicken or the fish. There was no starch as far as mashed potatoes and there was no greens. The waitresses weren't prompt in doing refills. They flickered the lights twice to dim it as in that was time for us to leave.I don't think they are too kind to all ethnicities. Myself and a couple other people from the party will never go back or recommend.
