Asbury Festhalle Biergarten

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent.

I had a reservation for 6pm but arrived early at 4 pm. I was informed that it was kids movie night. When I asked the hostess if we could be seated in a quiet area, she placed us at the first table closest to the screen and said she couldn't move us. Despite many quiet tables still being vacant, we finished our dinner there. It was also my friend's 60th birthday. The accommodations were poor.

I had guests from out of town visiting to celebrate a birthday, so we made a reservation for dinner and drinks. Despite checking the restaurant's closing times multiple times online, we arrived 20 minutes early only to find out that our reservation was no longer valid because the place was nearly empty and had already stopped serving food an hour and a half earlier. While we have had good experiences in the past, this particular incident left a bad taste in our mouths and we are unlikely to return. Improved communication between the Biergarten and Open Table regarding reservation times is necessary, and the Biergarten should be more transparent about their operating hours.
