Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered two pies for Christmas dinner and picked up on Christmas Eve. They were burnt on the outside and mush on the inside. The flavor was extremely strange – the worst bakery experience I have ever had. The pies were expensive and no one at our gathering could eat them. Even the children pushed their plates back in disgust! YUCK I have been there a couple of times before and experienced mixed results. They often sell dry, stale cupcakes, but I also had a gluten-free, sugar free black forest pastry that was wonderful. So – “When they are good, they are very, very good. But when they are bad they are horrid!” This place is alright if you want to spend a couuple of bucks on a quick treat, but I would not advise anyone to trust their dinner party to the uneven skills of these bakers. When I say these were the worst pies I ever had, I am not exaggerating. They were truly not edible.
I have been to this bakery several times as I am Celiac and cannot have wheat. They make the best gluten free breads, that you can actually spread jam on and it won’t crumble. Their desserts are too die for. They have a fantastic variety of both gluten free and traditional goodies. I had a gluten free chocolate cream cheese bar and I thought I died and went to heaven.
As a gluten-free individual, I must say that the options at this restaurant are superior to most places. I was pleased to see that there was no additional cost for the gluten-free dishes compared to the regular menu items. The service was quick and the gluten-free raspberry lemon cake was absolutely delightful. It is definitely worth making the drive from south Denver to dine here.
The first time I visited Olde Town Arvada, I couldn't resist following the heavenly scent coming from this bakery. It turned out to be a King Cake, which was absolutely delicious. Since that first visit, we make sure to stop by whenever we are in the area. In addition to their tasty streusel, they offer a wide variety of vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options that don't skimp on flavor. While we enjoy the cakes and streusel more than the cookies, I highly recommend stopping by, especially if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
This is an amazing traditional German bakery. They offer a delicious selection of breakfast pastries, cakes, and desserts, all made in-house. The service is friendly and the quality of the products is top-notch. They also have outdoor seating where you can enjoy your treats with a variety of coffee options. A big shoutout to the bakers who work hard every day to make it all happen. Cheers!
