George's Tavern - Arusha

This restaurant may not be a good option for vegans, as the only suitable option is an overpriced salad priced at 20k.

I enjoyed sitting on the terrace and the food and drinks were delicious. The pricing was fair.

I ordered the vegan moussaka with coconut milk, which was served with a side of fries and salad. It was worth every penny! Although they only offer a few vegan options, I was pleasantly surprised to see that items were clearly labeled as vegetarian/vegan - a rarity in Arusha!

Food was nice, in a nice little open area. Dishes were not cheap but I guess it’s bc we were in a touristic area... although we were the ones in the restaurant (we were 4 of us), it took over an hour to get the dishes, so just go there if you have time ! Restrooms are clean and staff speak good English and are really nice.

Some vegan options however I would clarify they use all vegan products if that’s your meal choice
