Bidrage med feedbackI ordered a takeout for a total of £60. The food was cold and the Naan breads were actually wet, as if they had been sweating for a long time. There was also an overwhelming amount of salt in the dishes. Some items were missing from my order. When I called to complain, the staff was rude. I suggest avoiding this place altogether. It was a terrible experience.
The restaurant has recently increased their prices for the third time. A chicken vindaloo that was £4.75 a year ago is now £7.95, and rice is £4.75. Unfortunately, there are other restaurants in the area offering similar dishes at a lower price. We had been loyal customers through the previous price hikes, but we have reached our limit now. The new prices are too high for us to continue dining there.
I was impressed with the prompt arrival of my order at the restaurant. The portion sizes were generous and the food looked fresh. The meal was reasonably priced considering the portion sizes. The spices and textures of the food were great, but unfortunately, the salt was overpowering. It was so salty that I ended up feeling dizzy by the end of the meal and couldn't finish it, which is unusual for me since I love salty food. It's a shame because otherwise, this meal would have easily been a 5-star experience.
Although the curries are delicious and one of the best in the area, they have got very expensive. I don't mind paying for good food, but the reason we come here so much is because it's cheap. Sadly, won't be coming here as much for a quick curry as there are ones in the area that are just as good for a third of the price. I understand with inflation business have to adapt. The first price rise was reasonable, the price rice that's happened again within 6 months, Some dishes nearly £3 more !! Not good. Sorry guys you're a big treat only now
