I used to love the mussels at this restaurant. However, after a few years, I returned and was extremely disappointed. The sauce was completely tasteless, and while my wife's sea bass was okay, the sautéed potatoes that came with it were burnt on the outside and undercooked inside. The server, a young lady, was very good. Despite the high prices for the quality of the food, I would not recommend this place.

We regularly eat at Mussel Row where the food and service is always excellent. The specials board is changed regularly and the homemade desserts are delicious. We always like to support local businesses and when the quality is this good why wouldn't you.

Just wow, the food and wine were absolutely amazing. We chose the mussels with chips and they were absolutely delicious. The sauce the mussels were cooked in was one of the best we have ever tasted. They have a great selections of very good wines and the service was excellent. Wish we lived nearer to taste all of the menu.

I have been wanting to eat at this restaurant for over 2 years and finally had the chance this evening. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The starters were okay and my husband's main course was fine. However, the white wine was overpriced at 32 quid a bottle, and the waitress suggested we put ice in it to cool it down for our anniversary celebration. When I questioned the temperature of the wine, the waitress rolled her eyes at me. My main course of mussels in white wine and cream sauce had no sauce, and when the waitress brought it back out to show me, there was only a quarter of the mussels in the bowl. I was even accused of having eaten there before, which I found offensive. I offered to pay for what we had eaten, but the waitress refused and indicated I should leave. I am planning to leave a negative review on social media and am curious to see the response, as previous negative reviews seem to blame the customer. I also feel sorry for the young people who are being influenced by this waitress's behavior. If you want to learn how to be passive-aggressive, defensive, and avoid taking accountability, then this is the place for you. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
