Bidrage med feedbackA previous experience of seafood here was wonderful, but I was wondering if it would be a repeated experience.. It was!!! Again my calamari and gamberi was tender and succulent, and the tartufo pizza delicious. (Too much food at one sitting, much of the pizza was taken home to eat the next day. Still delicious then. Desserts were splendid, I was advised to try their tiramisu as it is known to be very good, and it was. My husband could not be deterred from the gelato option and was very pleased.
Summary: exceptional food at exceptional prices. Details: four of us visited the restaurant for dinner. The outstanding offering was the calamari, which two of us are ... how shall we say ... rather passionate about. I cannot say it any better than this: Ristorante de Peppino made the best calamari I have had in *decades*. Simply sensational. The four of us ordered three different varieties of pizza, and not a one was disappointing. This is not a restaurant in the main tourist areas, but for those who happen to be in the Arpino area, or even in the Liri valley, it's well worth the visit.
Small, rustic and essential premises. Being few people, he made us sit in an outdoor space that he uses in summer closed with tent. Owner and courteous and very helpful waiters.
