Bidrage med feedbackIt was my first visit there and was taken by a friend . Upon arriving you can't help notice how clean the place was and how friendly the staff was not to mention the monster meal i ordered was the meat lover skillet .......... let me tell you it had 4 eggs with potatoes cheese and what I'm calling at least a pound to a pound and a half of meat. It had to be largest breakfast I've ever seen and for a very affordable price. I'll close by saying that if you leave hungry it's only you're fault ..... 2- thumbs up to Mr Allison's .......
We are regulars there, this is my first review, First the food is awesome and there is plenty of it and for the price you can not beat it. Just a suggestion If you have hungry teens and going for breakfast or lunch this is the place to fill their tummies, Service is great and very personable, if you leave without a take out box I would be amazed. Meat lovers skillet is my favorite, Or the country fried steak skillet, But it is all very good, Love the split pea soup and croutons. yes under new management but still same family, quality and quantity has not gone away, Just try it you'll like it. But get there early cuz parking gets a little slim later on weekends.
You got to get here at just the right time or you have a long wait for a table. But it is worth it. Everything I have had from them is delicious. The ham is awesome. If we can't eat in we get it to go.
We have been going there for years. Even after we moved to the far west burbs we still take the occasional trip to have a meat lover skillet and the wife has the #1. We always have leftovers, and get out of there for 25 bucks, tip included.
Husband and I have been going here for years. Food is abundant and really good. Besides the ham you have to try the skirt steak! Yummy! And speaking of ham, you can buy a ham bone for soup for under $5. Just ask and they'll put it on the side so when you checkout you have one. Weekends you may have to wait for a table, lines can go out the door.
