Flying Fish - Arlington

Food came fast, fresh, and was absolutely delicious. Best cocktail sauce. Large arrangement of table condiments. I got the 4 shrimp, 2 catfish basket and a side of onion rings. Onion rings were crispy. The lemonade wasn’t very good today in my opinion 4/9/22 but the sweet tea more than made up for it.

Perhaps they were good in the past, but today's experience was disappointing. The shrimp in the gumbo was tough, the gravy was too thick, the fries were as hard as if they had been reheated, and the hush puppies were too tough to bite into. I had heard great things about this place for a quick lunch with my mother, but we will not be returning.

This was my first experience trying Cajun cuisine, and I enjoyed it overall. However, I personally found it to be too spicy. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with nice decorations and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Fast , friendly and fresh. Adorable spot and the food was amazing as always and the employees are so friendly and kind.
